Unified Communications Administrator / Support Desk
Location: West Bromwich B71 4LT

Our client is a £multi-million, market leading and fast moving telecoms industry success story based in the West Midlands and operating nationally. They are a dynamic and growing company who specialise in the installation, maintenance and support of voice & data services and telecommunications equipment.

The company is a Samsung Platinum Service Partner and has ambitious plans for continuous improvement and further growth, as such they now seek another bright individual to join the successful customer support and provisioning team.

There are two main purposes of the job:
- to coordinate the delivery of a variety of telecommunications including: telephone lines, broadband, telephone systems, mobiles, SIP trunking, Ethernet, inbound numbers.
- be part of a team who are the first port of call for existing clients reporting faults and queries relating to the company's supplied services.

Essential Skills:

- Team working!
- Customer service or retail experience
- Basic technical support, either IT or communications
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Process driven worker
- Ability to prioritise work
- Dedicated to resolving problems/issues in a timely and accurate manner
- Ability to think outside the box should the situation require it
- Good active listening skills - required particularly when taking details of faults
- Clear and polite telephone speaking manner
- Letter writing skills (which can also be transferred to email correspondence)

Experience in telecommunications is not essential, but an interest in technology is a must! The successful applicant will be fully trained by internal and external staff to meet accreditation guidelines.
